Tourism is an important component of development, not only in economic terms but also for environmental development and human welfare. New forms of economic development and increasing wealth of human societies depend on tourism. Our knowledge of the world now includes a strong component due to tourism. Human welfare has physiological and psychological elements, which tourism promotes, both because of the enjoyment of knowing new territories and increasing contacts with near or far away societies and cultures. The global approach to tourism has changed considerably over the past decades – in part due to low-cost travel and also due to an increased concern about the sustainability of tourism from both cultural and environmental perspectives.
2023 2nd International Conference on Tourism, Economy and Environmental Sustainability will provide a unique forum for attendees from academia, industry, government, and other organizations to actively exchange, share, and challenge state-of-the-art research and industrial case studies on tourism, economy and environmental sustainability. The goal of the conference is to thoroughly examine contemporary hospitality and tourism issues, stimulate dialogue, and develop new perspectives in the field of tourism, events and cultural industry within the globalized environment. The conference invites conceptual, empirical, and methodological research papers, and country context case studies on different tourism and hospitality themes. Papers and presentations are expected to address both the theoretical, methodological, and practical aspects of tourism and hospitality marketing and management.
